Seems like time flies when you are having fun. It’s been about three weeks since I wrote something so here I am tonight.
Let’s start with exactly that. Jack and I are in Spokane, Washington. We’re on are way to Copalis Beach, Washington. My Aunt Ina turns 80 this year and there is a big party for her on Saturday. Jack and I will be there.
Our last camping spot was Dunewood Campground at the Dunes National Park. We were there from July 18th to July 25th. We left a couple of days early because of, guess what?, RAIN. And I was concerned that driving 2233 miles to Copalis Beach would be a challenge. I don’t really tolerate long days of driving and I wanted plenty of time to get there and not be stressed. And I have to say “Mission Accomplished”. We made it to Seattle on the 30th, 2 days early. Left for the beach on Friday for the Big Shindig.
Let me see if I can put together the past three weeks, at least in terms of where I have been. Going backwards: tonight-Spokane, Washington; July 28-Bozeman, Montana; July 27-Rapid City, South Dakota; July 26-Beloit, Wisconsin; July 25-Brandon, South Dakota; It’s been a ride.
I lost internet connection for a couple of days but now I am back on. It’s Sunday, August 3. The Big Party was yesterday and a Huge Success. Ina is very happy. We’re here until this Tuesday and then on the road again.
