We went to Rangeline Nature Preserve. Hiked the “novice” trail then realized the park was for mountain bikers. Lots of ups and downs and curves. But doable for a hike. There was no one else there so pretty safe from getting run over. We also got lost a little. I used AllTrails app to find our way out. But the phone was going dead. That worried me a little. And the mosquitoes were bad. I had bug spray in the car but forgot to put it on. Or, more likely, believed I wouldn’t need it. Every time I stopped to check progress and make sure we were still headed in the right direction I got swarmed. They, that is the mosquitoes, like sweat. Poor Jack got a couple of bites, too.
Even though I wanted to go straight home after that the next stop was only 8 minutes away.
