So the last time I posted was after a thunderstorm had destroyed my campsite. I went scurrying to another hotel and spent 3 nights there. I really can’t afford to keep doing that so I am figuring out how to live in the rain.
Tonight, I am in another campsite back at McCoy’s Ferry. And rain is expected though I don’t know about wind, etc. But I am cozy. I set up my smaller tent INSIDE my Chowhouse (credit Jeff and Kym Wheeler). So I have 3 layers of protection to keep me and Jack dry and warm.
My regular tent is still wet and dirty but set up to dry out. All the rest of my campsite is organized but most of the stuff is in the car. It’s safe from wind and rain.
We’ll see how it goes.
