Today is a Great Day

I felt a little more enthusiastic about this when I first started out today. That has dwindled a bit but, still, a good day. When I am not tired I feel like I can keep going forever. But after a couple of hours…hmmm…not so much.

Jack and I walked 6 miles for a total of 15.5 this week. Sunday starts a new week. Looks like the Apple health app is the one that will keep track. It’s passive. I don’t have to do anything and the information is there. I think I am off to a good start.

And it seems like I had a lot more to say while I was walking and thinking.

Jack was a perfect dog today. He did not bark, lunge or try to chase anything today. Just stayed with me. We stopped at a senior center that was along the path. (I had to pee.) They were having a bazaar. Jack got lots of pets and love. And forgot to bring any money so could’t buy anything. I think that was a good and bad thing. They had lots of pretty stuff. Reminded me of my mom. I miss her.

I am using the Kamoot app. I think I mentioned that before. It is definitely made for bicyclists. We walked along some pretty busy roads for pedestrians. And I couldn’t find a safe place to stop and order Uber. I am going to look for a walking app tonight. Or figure out how to make this one work better for me. It will be easier when I am on the C & O towpath and The Great Allegheny Passage.

Going to bed. Jack is already there. He is a light weight.
