Increasing Walking Distance: Progress Update

I am, slowly but surely, making progress. I have increased my distance to six miles on Mondays and Fridays. I am also walking on Wednesdays but working to get my time to less than 20 minutes per mile on that day. So it’s a shorter walk. STILL HOT and that makes it hard. It takes a little while to recover in the heat. Drinking Lots of water.

  2. good strong work Carrie. Slow steady progress is the way to maintain in the long run IMHO.

    I’m still confused on how you are managing the walk. If you do the spoke method are you car camping and driving from desired destinations to desired destinations and then doing day walks/ hikes in the area you are camping. I want you to succeed so please also study camping needs, bear country safety etc.

  3. You get it. That is exactly right. I will be car camping and moving the camp from place to place as I move along the trail.
