Great American Rail Trail: Trail List from Washington, DC to La Push, Washington

The Rails to Trails webpage has does some upgrading and it now has a list of the trails, in order, across the Great American Rail Trail. It runs from Washington, DC to La Push, Washington.

Here is the list as it starts in Washington, DC. My plan as of right now is to start in Rehoboth, DE, so that I am walking from coast to coast. So my walk will be a little longer. I have to plan that part of the route. But this list makes planning SOOO much easier.

    sounds like an adventure. Are you driving and stopping along they way to see the sites, stay in hotels, camp? How many miles a day driving? It sounds like an amazing trip. Be safe!!!!

      Hi Anne, This is the walk I planned a couple of years ago but had to post-pone. In training now and plan to start again next April. Camping and some hotels but walking the whole trail. I am keeping the blog up to date with plans (and changes) over the next months. Stayed Tuned.
