These Knees Were Made For Walking

I am new to this blogging thing so bear with me as I learn. I MADE IT to Washington, to start my walk from here. Someone asked if my plans had changed and, yes, it feels like they change every day.

But here is a quick summary of what they are now and some of the reasons why. I am now walking West to East. My aunt Ina has some health issues and we are working with them here is Washington. (she doesn’t have cancer but things are not completely clear yet.) So this year I hope to accomplish the trek across Washington State and, maybe, Idaho.

But some other things still need to resolve and plans may change again. Complications have arisen with my house/pet care. I have the house listed on Airbnb but no guests after June 5th. So I am looking for someone to stay there. If this problem doesn’t resolve I may have to head home until it does. So, if you know anyone that needs a place to stay and are willing to take care of 2 cats, send them my direction.

In the meantime, I am going to start my walk intermittently, from here. We’re close to Ina’s house so can go out to camp and walk for a week here and a week there and still manage Ina’s health issues with doctors appointments, etc.

I hope this answers more questions than it creates.
